Pre-Conference Party
We’re pleased to announce that the pre-conference party for speakers, sponsors, crew and invited guests will be at the Metropolitan Bar in the Merchant City of Glasgow starting at 7pm on 26th April.
This is a nice trendy bar and we will have a private room with no noisy music so everyone can mix and have a chat. After last year we felt that although the Tower Restaurant had been great it was a bit restrictive having a very formal dinner with people not able to mingle with anyone they were not seated next to.
Also a big omission last year was that we didn’t invite our crew because the restaurant wouldn’t let us have a large number of guests. This year the crew is invited and we are still open for volunteers – just contact us if you would like to be involved.
This year we can have up to 70 people for a buffet and free drinks – there will also be a paid bar for when our assigned money runs out.
So please get a submission in or volunteer to help – our CFP will be open until end of Feb.
